Chalet Ruby is perfectly located in a tranquil side street off the main Place de Venosc. You have the benefit of a lovely cosy and quiet chalet but within a few minutes you can be enjoying the buzz of the night life of Les Deux Alpes. We have an excellent choice of quality restaurants within a short walking distance of Chalet Ruby including the Michelin star rated restaurant la P’tit Polyte in Hotel Chalet Mounier.
As well as fabulous skiing facilities, there are many other things to keep you busy during your holiday. Les Deux Alpes has 6 sledge runs in a dedicated area specifically for toboggans next to the Lutins Piste at the bottom of the slopes. There are a variety of runs which are mainly designed for children but also available to adults on Tuesday and Thursday evenings when the slopes are flood-lit for night skiing.
Those who enjoy speed will love riding a powerful snow-mobile (like a motorbike with caterpillar tracks) over the pistes after dark! Discover the different dimensions of driving; carving turns, accelerating in a straight line, ascents and descents. Either be the driver, or if that doesn’t suit then you have the opportunity to be a passenger.
Ice gliding is just like bumper cars on ice; the car is powered by a battery and allows you to bump slide and crash into the other cars on the track. Open on Thursdays from 3pm to 6.30pm and Fridays from 9pm to 11pm
There are a number of walking trails that stay open throughout the winter, allowing you to access the snowy heights of the mountains and sample the high altitude mountain restaurants at your leisure.
